Boating Safety Courses
Commodore Mike Palomino tells us that it won't be long before California adopts mandatory
boating education for all boaters. You can get ahead of the game by taking a free online boating
safety course from the California Department of Boating and Waterways. The safety course will
satisfy the impending safety education requirements. To avoid the rush, do the following:

1. Go to the Department of Boating and Waterways website. |

2. Choose a boating safety link that suits your needs. |

Boating and Waterways is free. I ordered mine online and received materials in 3 days.

3. Take the course. |
